What type of board games do you make?

We aim to create social, replayable games for mixed groups of teens and adults. Our games range from light party fun to medium-strategy experiences that are easy to learn but full of hidden depth.

Sessions are designed to be quick to teach, highly engaging, and with a major focus on player interactivity.

What inspires your game design?

Painted Cardboard Studios™ wants to create moments that spark immediate reactions from everyone playing. We prioritize games that encourage constant player interaction and avoid designs where participants feel isolated or disengaged.

Where are the games made?

Our games are currently printed in China. As a small, independent studio, this allows us to keep our games affordable and sustainable.

It also influences our design philosophy, which is why we focus on component-light games like Mafia Blitz that prioritize gameplay and replayability over excess components.

Why do you only ship to the United States and Canada?

We currently ship only to the United States and Canada to keep fulfillment reliable and costs reasonable. We hope to expand to more regions in the future.

Can I submit games?

At this time, we are not accepting game submissions.
